A2A Comanche 250

I was hoping for that, but I was having quite a hard time finding the drain.

If you enable preflight pins in the settings it will show you the click spot.

Thx for that tip!

Hi there, is anyone also experiencing issues with “engine vibration” somehow messed up for either Buttkicker as well as FFB devices? I have a Moza AY210 yoke and recently the Comanche caused the yoke to get messed up. It shakes violently with the same settings I used before after a Moza software update. I found the culprit in the “engine vibration” setting or how the yoke interprets telemetry from the sim. Both the Buttkicker and Yoke only get some data every couple of seconds. It works fine in other GA planes I use.

The Moza firmware keeps getting updated and the presets need to be updated. Can you lower your engine vibrations setting in the Moza software?

The setting is actually called “propeller vibration” in the MOZA software and tuning it down does not really solve the issue. The effect is actually moving the yoke/ailerons wildly rather than just vibrating. Also I can see in the telemetry data in the MOZA software that when using the A2A Comanche it just comes in “bursts” rather than a constant effect based on the RPMs. Ground vibration for example works normal, so I think it is an issue with the add-on. Something must have changed, as it worked before. Also as I have the same issue (no constant effect but “bursts” of the engine effect) on my Buttkicker.

Is anybody else experiencing this with the current MSFS 2024 version of the A2A Comanche? Otherwise I may try another complete uninstall including all remaining files of the add-on.

I actually turned that off on my yoke. I was concerned that constant vibration like that could have some effect on my hands over time. It may be a non-issue, but I’d prefer to err on the side of caution.

:television: New Short Video – How Accu-Sim Generates Engine Power

Hey @everyone we have a new little video on our Youtube Channel. Scott explains the fundamental physics behind Accu-Sim using a single-cylinder Gravely tractor engine.

Every time combustion occurs, it produces a pulse of power: boom… boom… boom.
The rest of the time the engine is essentially coasting between those impulses.

Accu-Sim models each individual cylinder firing in real time, generating the raw forces that drive the propeller rather than simply telling the simulator how much power to produce.

That’s why Accu-Sim engines don’t just sound alive they breathe, stumble, and respond like real machines.

Is that a setting in the inflight tablet?

Have what I think is a bug, despite having persistent settings all enabled, every time I start a flight in free flight, cold & dark, all the covers/ wheel chokes, tie downs are not attached, despite me setting them at end of flight.

(Ms store pc version , native 24”)

That is really nice and impressive, but it seems that in the latest version the telemetry output of RPM is somehow broken, at least for my install. I again deinstalled, removed all files in the WASM folder and did a clean install and still have the problem.

I then monitored the telemetry output in two apps. In the MOZA cockpit again, the same issue that when activating “propeller vibration”, the effect comes in and out, about every 3-4 seconds. So it is not like what is decribed in the video that each cylinder is slightly separated, there is really a gap inbetween getting the effect. And when the effect comes, it is way to strong and distorted.

I then also monitored telemetry output in Sim Racing Studie, that I use for my DOF motion platform and also here it shows that the RRM telemetry jumps around that do not make sense. Trying it with an Asobo C172, the RPM telemetry reflects what I set with the throttle and stays at this value pretty much.

I will enter this also in the A2A forum and Discord - just found it.

Don’t get me started on the options Asobo gives us for grass length…

Anyone? Or just me.

Sorry for the late reply I’ve been very busy with work. You can find it here…
