Brief description of the issue:

The warning alarm (for example, T.O. Config warning) is extremely loud compared to any other aircraft. Even with my system volume near 0, it’s still very very loud. It should be balanced to a level similar in other aircraft. I have never heard anything louder in the sim and I worry it could damage my hearing or my headphone speakers.

Start A310-300 Enhanced on runway start, apply full power while parking brake is on or flaps set incorrectly, observe very loud alarm.

I can turn down the warning sound, but what I’m reporting is that this warning sound is so incredibly loud compared to any other plane that comes in the default sim that it is basically a bug.

If I have time I will record the audio levels and do a visual comparison on the dB level and show the evidence. But I would rather not turn down the warning sounds of all my other aircraft or need to turn it down every time I load up this one. That’s why I consider it a bug.

same as op, the master warning wakes up everyone in the house, i know i can tone down all alarms in general, but the problem is with this aircraft only, it should be 25% of the current level

Yes, I can confirm the same problem as reported by the original poster: Cockpit warnings are far too loud with the iniBuilds A310 in FS2020. Painfully loud.

It is so loud in fact, that if you make the alerts quieter in the sim’s audio settings, then the sound balance would become messed-up for all the other aircraft in the sim.

I recorded the audio levels in audacity with all levels being the same. The default A320 has a quiet master alarm (but still easily heard). The A320V2 is loud but it’s not overwhelming, and is probably a good example of where the loudness should be, and the A310 is very very loud. All my audio sliders in the sim are at 100.

Great work! Yes this demonstrates exactly the excessively over-boosted loudness of the A310’s cockpit alarms versus other aircraft.
I think as Sim Update 15 is still in beta, and as IniBuilds are still tweaking their A320neo, they could use this time as well to reduce the master alarm loudness on their A310 to a reasonable lower level.
