I’ve done two flights over the past couple of days with the Airbus A310 and each time after taking off the aircraft exceeds 200kts way before passing 10,000ft. I’ve also noticed that the button doesn’t change to CL after takeoff and I have to manually select it. I’m not sure if that’s the reason why…
Still new to the A310 but I’m unsure why this is happening.
Typically you have a speed restriction of 250 kts below 10,000ft (common in the US, not sure about the rest of the world) so I don’t see an issue here. Are there speed restrictions below 250kts on the SID that it is not following?
Try doing the automatic pre-flight checklist and the inspection checklist, (the first two of the msfs automatic checklist items) this should speed up some things you are leaving behind.
200kt is pretty slow. Try to get 240 or 250 until FL100 and accelerate above to Mach speed.
