Hope someone can give me some pointers here, I can’t get the A310 to appear in the aircraft selection menu, i.e. I can’t select it for a flight or view it in the hanger.
Things I’ve tried:
1 - Empty Community folder
2 - Uninstalled then reinstalled from Content Manager
3 - Manually deleted (from explorer), then let it redownload and update at startup
4 - Uninstall the enhanced package
Nope, running in safe mode doesn’t make it appear.
Just a quick question, I’m less familier with the file layouts in MFS (compared to P3D), does this look about right for the contents of the microsoft-aircraft-a310-300 folder?
I have one difference in my installation, the contents of the bottom pic should be in a folder called microsoft_a310_300 and that folder resides in the Airplanes folder (which you have shown in the middle pic).
Thanks very much for all your help, I’ve sorted it.
That guide was very thorough but after going through it and the associated Windows/XBox Game thingamajig stuff, it still wasn’t working. However, it made me realise that this is probably a user/login/credentials type problem…
What solved it in the end was a simple, log out of my xbox user (which kicks you back to the beginning of MFS) and log in again. On doing this, hey presto! everything reappeared (I’d also lost a few other aircraft that I hadn’t noticed earlier).
So thanks again for all your help and advice, I really appreciate it.
