A310 not descending via glide slope

Brief description of the issue:

Every time I am trying to do an ils landing it won’t follow glide slope even though the pfd shows localizer and glide slope active. This started happening since SU13. Anybody else having this problem?? Any idea what can be happening??

Fly into an ils approach. Wait for it to capture the slope and localizer. (Shouldn’t descend via glideslope)

this is still an issue. Glide slope captured from below and GS turns green but aircraft does not descend. I’m on Xbox series x

at first I thought I had maybe missed a step in configuring the aircraft as it only happened sometimes but after 2 flights today where it didn’t descend on either occasion I believe there is more to this.

I find VNAV to work fine in the A310. You do need to manage it with the speed brakes if it starts to get too high on profile which it will do with any reduction in airspeed constraint but you just have to look out of the window on a real aircraft to know that this is what happens in the real world

It’s the glide slope that is causing the issues. I can be perfectly stabilised at capture height in alt hold with gs in blue and when the purple diamond comes down to the middle gs will turn green and nothing happens. It just keeps flying level. I’m wondering if it depends on what your active mode is. It should work from both profile alt and level hold but it’s maybe getting stuck when in level hold. I’ve noticed that if you are in level change with gs armed in blue, it won’t change to level hold when you reach the set altitude and will instead continue to descend until you hit the ground

I have noted the GS did not get captured when approaching below the GS in ALT Hold mode after pressing LAND. The aircraft just continued to hold altitude. It did maintain LNAV via LOC.
