[A319, A320, A321] Fenix High-Fidelity Aircraft

Finally got rid of the dodgy controls using the legacy setting.
Flight was great until i started my landing sequence, it was then a slide show…unacceptable.

My same experience in general (even with other aircraft) I literally watch my VRAM suddenly shoot up about 2Gb around the 20’ callout and all hell breaks loose trying to land.

Mine peaked to 20 GB of VRAM usage upon landing. It was nearly constant ~15 GB usage during the entire flight until touchdown.

This may be off topic, but as Fenix pilots I’m sure many of you have the Thrustmaster TCA Airbus. I have a problem with it in FS2024. The throttle lever is very sensitive. I’ve already tried adjusting the axis settings (0–100%) and standard axis settings. In this configuration, reverse thrust doesn’t work, and at minimum throttle, the aircraft in the simulator have about 40% thrust. Also, in the control settings, adjusting the throttle sensitivity doesn’t work (any changes have no real effect on the gameplay).
Someone have any solution? Is It working well for all of you?

Maybe try using the axes that don’t have “(0-100)” in the name

Are you asking about Fenix specifically? If so, you need to calibrate the throttle detents in the MCDU Control Config page, otherwise you get that behavior.

Many thanks, I checked the setiing menu and the Cockpit Interaction was indeed Locked, switched to Legacy and it works now as I expected. My Fight Model is still Modern and Realistic.

Btw, is any of you using miniCockpit FCU for Fenix MSFS 2024? I have justed updated the latest Firmware and Data Link Software 2.1.7 today but it does not work for my Fenix.

20GB is insane!- I never see it close to that high even with everything maxed… Clearly part of the issue going on.

I have Dev Mode FPS overlay disabled because it disables Frame Gen, but here you can see dedicated VRAM usage at 19477 on a 4090. This was right after landing. It jumped from ~15 GB to ~20 GB within minutes.

Mind-boggling. Hopefully they fix it with the two patches coming. @nhc150 sorry to keep tagging you, the reply function doesn’t seem to be working.

Second flight with the A321 went well. Only a few issues noted. I’ll say it again: this seems very stable for being experimental 2024 support.

  • Map view on the tablet randomly stops showing
  • Clicking on tablet is inconsistent. Takes multiple attempts (known issue from Fenix)

On every flight I get a fuel pump fault… does it have anything to do with msfs24? Edit: solved after the update!

Update 2.3.0.532

Hey everyone - this latest build is a stability and infrastructure focused one, aiming to clean things up like APPR mode crashes and such. This update is for BOTH 2020 and 2024, so install it no matter what platform you’re running Avionics and Systems

  • Fixed A32X systems not loading/unloading correctly
  • Fixed CAB ALT gauge not showing the correct value
  • Fixed some crashes

Art and Sound

  • 2024: fixed cockpit blend mask across AO, metalness and roughness

Installer (v1.0.141)

  • Old log files are now cleaned up when installing a new product
  • If both MS Store and Steam are installed, MS Store will be preferred (this is similar to what the logic was before)
  • Added additional logging around exe.xml
  • Fixed a crash when the user’s Fenix login details were corrupt
  • Fixed exe.xml not being edited if 2020 products are updated, then 2024 installed on top of that (or vice versa)

It seems the tablet click points on 532 have been improved on MSFS2024, but maybe that’s just a placebo effect.

Yes the EFB touch seemed better in my half flight today. Unfortunately the other half of the flight doesn’t exist because FS24 chose to CTD during cruise over the Tasman.

Did a perfect flight from san fran to LA last night went very smoothly.

Everything worked as it should

Is the clock bugged? Seems to be stuck in real world time, it does not change when I change the time/date in the sim? Also time acceleration does not seem to accelerate the clock.

My clock does the same: stuck on real-time despite sim time.

Ok, good to know I’m not the only one with the problem  Despite that, did my first flight in MSFS24 and it went very well. This is an amazing product they have made.
