Been playing with the vanilla A320, doing various flights across the globe. Noticed after yesterday’s 1.12.13.0 update the ol’ Autopilot bug’s come back, tried the different workarounds, i’ve read on this amazing forum, but nothing seems to work, as i say, i’m running the vanilla A320 with an EasyJet livery skin from Flightsim.to. Tried C&D and saving as soon as it loads in, and reinstalling everything.
Need to call this out, as it was working perfectly before this update. i’ve got the Standard PC version through Xbox Game Pass. Any help greatly appreciated, calling it out! Happy Trails!
Do you start from the gate or directly from the runway?
I once read somewhere that the autopilot does not work when starting from the gate. I had the same a few days ago. Started from the gate, after takeoff a sharp turn and then he would have crashed. After that, it flew well past the 11000ft. Then I stopped.
Hey, so yeah it’s from the gate - but then I ran the training for the A320 (they just introduced) and ran the take off training, which starts you in the runway - and when the training asked me to turn on AP I did it and it threw a sharp right hander. I’ll try running from the runway later. But I’m with my fellow realists, we want to start C&D at a gate, and get the aircraft serviced etc. Hope they’re going realise this has reared its head again
Hey all, just FYI, the problem is the Nav data isn’t properly written for runway departures. If you notice the course line leaving the airport is always eskew or not lining up with the runway. I advise to hold off on turning on AP until you’re on the course line or passed the area that isn’t correct.
since the last update, all aircraft have become worse controlled. What happened? Planes on take-off fall onto the wing. They can’t be managed. I can’t take off extra and bich craft so it doesn’t crash
