A320 autopilot - Approach runway

Everytime i received order from ATC to land on runway, i put the route on my FMC to that runway and he always do weird route..is this normal? at least i think is weird, but can be normal

The behavior you are seeing is a bug, but you can easily work around it. Add the transition waypoint to your flight plan first, then add the approach and things will behave as you expect.

can you explain it better bro?
Just for clarify

This playlist covers everything you need to know to fly the A320 in MSFS:

I also recommend the FlyByWire A32NX mod.

thank you

Say ATC says something like, “Frontier 253, expect ILS 16L via the BOGG transition. Maintain 11,000 feet, cleared to BOGG.” On the flight plan page of the MCDU, type BOGG. It will appear on the bottom. Click the button next to the destination airport and then click TMP Insert. Once you have done that, then click on the destination airport button, choose arrival and pick ILS 16L as the approach. TMP Insert that and you are done. I’m not in an A320 at the moment, so this is off the top of my head, but hopefully it makes sense.
