A320 autothrottle and climb problem

Hello,

The last few flights I’ve been on I have noticed that during the climb my speed will act very crazy jumping from 0-60 IAS very sporadically and causing my climb to be stagnant. I try to force a air speed climb to 1800 ft but it does not respond. This is when I have the throttle at CL.

Anyone else having this issue? Please let me know if I need to explain better.

Stock or FBW?

As PIC4506 inquired, if you are using the default version, the pitot tubes are probably freezing up.
The Probe/Window Heat button above the APU controls needs to be turned on.
This is incorrectly simulated in the default, as the probes are automatically turned on IRL.

This is a mod, when used, makes the A320 quite good.
(Actually they offer three versions of this mod)
Here is a link to their site:

I would recommend you get their installer and use it to install the Custom Fly byWire version.
It is the most realistic.
There are intructions there as well, if you are going to use this version, to set up your throttle correctly.

Can you point me to this throttle setup with the Custom FlyByWire version? I use the installer and see no documentation on throttle setup. Thank you

Sure, here is a link, the throttle set up is near the start of the document.
