A320 Default and ASOBO

Yes, what TheDaMnEd147 stated above. Right now adding any more feature (except for basic, core, automation-related bug fixes/improvements) to the A320 Neo would be a huge waste of time for Asobo/Microsoft imo, as the FlyByWire team is way ahead of them in terms of features, visual enhancements, sounds and functionality. What Microsoft/Asobo should be doing right now is to focus on the core sim, eliminate all the bugs, and add features that all the third party devs (payware or freeware) can take advantage of through the SDK.

For example, Mr Jorg, head of MSFS, said he will add more features to the G1000 in future. This way, Carenado can take advantage of that in their future planes and develop aircraft quickly simply by adding the default (but enhanced) g1000 to their planes. If on the other hand the g1000 remains incomplete, then it will take a lot of time for Carenado and other third party devs to develop.

Study level aircraft are tough, and takes years to develop. It took PMDG four and half years to release their first study level aircraft for Prepar3D after the latter’s first version was released back in 2010. This is why core sim’s bug fixes, improvements and a solid, user-friendly and well-documented SDK are extremely important right now than anything else for MSFS at this moment.
