Flight: Heathrow / Dublin
When flying the A320, it is progressing along the usual flight plan.
When I get close enough to to the arrival airport to receive the METAR data, I go
to the MCDU > PREF and then go to the approach phase.
As I input the wind direction and windspeed into the approach, the pane suddenly does an almost 90
degree bank and loops around back into the flight path.
Unfortunately, this seems to go out of control sometimes, especially if I use the yoke to stop it banking so hard, then end up in an uncontrollable nose dive.
Anyone else have this problem?
I originally thought it was when entering the STAR, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
