A320 FBW annoying rocking

In A320 neo FBW stable version annoying rocking on Flight EIDW-LEMD. The wind was 012/38.

disconnect SEC12 or SEC2 (overhead) when it starts rocking

try the new master build, it fixed the problem for me

master is less stable. you might have some problems, but its updated quite often

Dev version and Master build are exactly the same thing. They both updated daily with new features and fixes.

IMHO, if rocking back and forth is their only issue, MSFS has been good to them. Seriously, my plane could fly upside down and I would not complain if caught the LOC and glide scope and landed smoothly every time. Lol

That suggestion worked perfectly! Turning off SEC1 stabilized it immediately. The seasickness was getting strong and I thought I might need to just stop flying it until it was fixed.

This is FS2020 v1.11.70 and FBW A32NX mod v0.4.1. Unlike the IT Crowd, turning it off and on again doesn’t work. The roll builds up again within a minute or so.

If anyone is curious, here’s a description of SEC’s function:

ON:
SEC 1(2)(3) performs the following functions:

  • Normal roll (by controlling the spoilers)
  • Speedbrakes and ground spoilers
  • Alternate pitch (SEC 1 and SEC 2 only)
  • Direct pitch (SEC 1 and SEC 2 only)
  • Direct roll
  • Abnormal attitude.

OFF:
The corresponding computer is not active. Switching it OFF, then on, resets the computer.
