A320 FBW keeps modulating upwards at cruise level

The speed and the altitude in the FBW A320 keep modulating upwards at cruise level. Is there a fix?

Hello,
Questions about mods are for the Third Party Addon Discussion category. I moved your topic there.

The fix is, fix the problem with your throttle. It’s drifting out of position.

The throttle is set on ATHR. What else do you suggest?

I mean your physical throttle. And there is no ATHR setting on the 320. There is a CLIMB detent (which is autothrottle). If you set the throttle in the CLIMB detent and the airplane continues to accelerate, then you are not in the CLIMB detent. Ergo, it must have moved. Ergo, your physical throttle is drifting out of the CLIMB detent.

to add to what @mdapol mentioned, use the FBW FlyPad settings to configure your throttle to ensure that the zones are properly aligned to your physical throttle. One time is usually enough to get this precise. The real A320 also has a built in “soft cruise” feature which will allow the aircraft to drift off altitude slightly to better manage turbulent air but I doubt that is modeled here.

Thanks…the throttle is in the CLIMB detent and there is a A/THR button on the dashboard which is activated. I’ll double check it though. Thanks, for the info about the FlyPad, I haven’t been using it.
