A320 instrument panel lights bug

I was flying from JFK to O’Hare last night and the instrument panel lights would turn off constantly. I could actually see and hear the dials being turned. Would have to turn all the lights back on then they would turn off again. Would happen at random times. Anyone else having issue? Happened after latest patch. I do have the flybywire mod installed.

Yes, I do too. It just happened to me on final approach and turned off my PFD on a night landing. Uff. I had to find all the switches in the dark to turn up the brightness again and then wait 40 seconds for the PFD to get out of “test mode.” It happened a few other times on the flight too. I also have the flybywire mod. Hopefully they know about this/fix it soon. I’m really glad they fixed the engine 1 bug after this last patch though. That was worse than this bug.

Same here. Also on approach

Can someone please add this to bugs so it can be voted on?

I just got on the Discord for FlybyWire and they know. Apparently it is a MSFS 2020 general bug, not from the mod? I filed a bug report with them. I’ll do it through Zendesk too.

Just had a new bug where everything shut off…was in the process of taking off and everything went good and dark…happened after restart while starting up the aircraft unable to start things back up…had to restart flight.

Now I can’t even start it…hit battery during startup and nothing…

Sadly I have the same issue. Don’t worry though, It might be sorted in a few weeks time.

There are other threads on this forum that have pointed to a solution of turning off all traffic - including ground traffic. I tried myself and it worked. At least it seems to be a temporary workaround

I have the same issue. I have to constantly turn the brightness knobs, to turn the screens back on.

I’m doing the rounds trying to let as many people know as possible - the issue is specifically with Ground Aircraft Density, set that to 0 and there should be no more issues. Everything else can be set as desired. We figured it out in this thread Black avionics screens after update after finding a post on reddit pointing towards ground traffic in general.

In my case sometimes Radio panel trun off and back on If i click Crtl + 6 or Ctrl + 5
