Hello all, twice now in flight at high altitude the cockpit loses all power and all lights go out, plane crashes. using through steam and honeycomb equipment. any help would be appreciated. Not changed any settings. both happened in last month.
tried switching as many buttons as possible to start systems but nothing works.
Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:
You shouldn’t need to, unless you turned them off.
If so, it would be quite obvious, as you would have alarms on the EICAS and two bright switches on the overhead marked OFF
apart from a couple of airport add ons nothing has changed. I was an hour into a 90min flight, could it be loss of fuel never checked that, would it give a warning, though it did try the apu starter and that failed to work, i was at 29k feet so had a bit of time to look at various systems. I need to check game settings to see if those have altered, any body else had this happen?
Yes, you would have gotten a low fuel alarm long before they ran empty.
Your battery would have kept systems on for a brief period.
Particularly since everything went dark and the APU wouldn’t start, it sounds very much like a conflict.
I would still try the addon removal, whether it did in the past or not, doesn’t mean it didn’t cause it this time.
I had this happen once this past week with the 320 neo, I was halfway into my flight at cruising alt of 37000, and I decided to turn off the contraint button as I was still learning how to use the 320 and as soon as I turned that button off all my power went out, completely dark and could not re-boot batts until i crashed. Never happen since then so I can only assume it was one of those glitches.
