I am on Xbox Series X and I encountered an issue with the Overspeed system with Airbus a320 neo. I have over 300 flight hours with this aircraft.
The problem occurred when I chose the CRZ altitude of FL350 for a flight between KLAX and KMSY, everything was ok during the climb phase but at FL280 until FL350 the overspeed system was activated. I checked the PERF part on MCDU and at the CRZ phase I found the *285 option in the managed parameter.
I assumed the calculation system at FL350 was wrong, the correct speed should be *284 (I know this because I manually entered a speed of 284 and the overspeed alert disappeared). This may be a rounding problem in the calculation. For an altitude of FL350 it is possible that the managed speed gives a result with a decimal between 284 and 285 and that the calculation system rounds the value to the higher integer instead of the lower integer.
It’s not a big problem but it only happens at FL350 and it’s not very comfortable not using the automatic speed system.

What’s happening is the neo auto throttle is bugged when it transitions from thr clm to speed and basically disengages (watch your ias indicator), stopping climb and accellerates. Thats why you heard the over speed. All you have to do is press the button to force managed speed again and the auto throttle will be in speed mode.
