I have an old copy of the above software intended for a very early version of MSFS.
Can this software be used in MSFS2020? If so how do I go about downloading the model.

Assuming youre talking about this one: Just Flight - A320 Jetliner
It will not be compatible.
FSX and P3D products will not work in MSFS.
Thanks, did think that would be the case.
Any recommendations as to a good model of the A320?
The free and open source FlyByWire is good - https://flybywiresim.com/a32nx/
Otherwise, for the best/most realistic, the only other one I can think of is the Fenix https://fenixsim.com/
basically what this guy said
No but you can always wait until FS2024 is released with possibly better improved A320 or alternatively if you don’t like the current A320, there is always A310 or A320 by Fenix or the free one by flyby wire like Iconogr4phy recommended.
You should be happy that instead of this…
THIS was released instead for Flight Simulator 2020 the perfect ultra high polygon photorealistic Fenix A320, and the seats are so perfectly ultra high polygon + wonderful tesselated it is like really sitting on one of these.
The trimwheel is so high polygon that it almost looks like more realistic than photoreal.
The fenix A320 is not cheap at £50 but suppose you only get what you pay for.
no but all things considered a $50 high fidelity airplane where everything works is a really good value over a $20 plane off the marketplace thats nothing more than a port from an older game.
I’m not much an airbus guy myself and prefer boeings but i won’t deny when there’s a quality piece of software.
Start on the FBW for free and if you feel you need more out of your airbus experience, def look into the fenix
I really feel that FSLabs need to do something other than A320 when they come to MSFS. There is really no point since Fenix already has a high fidelity aircraft. I hope they know that.
But Fenix is only available on PC. If FSLabs makes a release that works on XBox and Cloud, then they have a market that Fenix isn’t tapping into.
