A320 still a disaster: reverse not working, TCA controls not recognized

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

A year has passed and the A320 NEO by inibuilds is as bad as the first day.

There is no view of the main panel, whereas there are two views for the left/right EFB (what’s the point, they are synced) and one on the floor (completely useless).
I can’t believe I had to build a custom camera for the most important view.

The EFB lets you calibrate the controls, but then the reverse just don’t turn on at all. Even though the levers move in the reverse area.

I have the controls mapped for the FBW A320 neo, but as much as the IGNITION is recognized, the engine starters aren’t. They are regularly mapped, but they don’t work.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time, since MSFS 2024 was released.

I thought I posted on Bug Report. Sorry.

Let me add that the plane skipped all DECEL and kept me at 220 kts until landing. I had to proceed manually.

Furthermore, the autopilot alarm (when disconnected) never stopped going off. Very annoying at landing time.

Finally, I couldn’t arm the spoilers. (even moving manually the lever, didn’t confirm on ECAM).

open \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2024\microsoft-aircraft-a320neo\work\ThrottleData.ini and check second line. I bet it says “reverse_on_axis = false”. Change it to true, restart the game and reversers will work.

Can’t comment on instrument views as I have never used them. I assign custom cameras to suit my needs and this works well

I occasionally have to change “reverse on axis” to no and then back to yes and this normally fixes it

I had an issue with the starter knob where you have to adjust something in the settings for it to turn to IGN/START but fuel switches have worked from the moment I plugged it in

Press “activate approach” in the PERF page

You need to press the red button on the sidestick twice. Once to disconnect autopilot and a second time to cancel the alarm. This is a feature of the real thing. You can do this by setting your autopilot disconnect button as “toggle autopilot disconnect” in control settings

You need to set a button to “toggle arm spoilers” or something like that. Lever pulls up on real thing while in the stowed position

Thank you, it was “false”. Set it on true. They work now! Cheers!

I pushed the button twice and got the autopilot on again.

I was on Approach mode (dual autopilot), so it disconnected only AP1 and proceeded manually. Though even after switching off the master alarm, the ringer tone kept going off.

ENG switches work now that I set the reverse to work on the WASM file!

Thank you

Red button on the stick though for autopilot. Toggle autopilot or pressing the AP buttons on the mode control panel won’t do it. It has to be toggle disconnect which is the red button
