After landing I start getting a chime in the aircraft. Neither of the alarm lights will silence it when pressed. There is a red message on the ECAM, something about the AP, but if I press the AP on/off switch it stops but resumes in a few seconds. What is this alarm and what do I do to mitigatge it and solve the indicated problem?
I have the same issue with iniBuilds/Microsoft’s A320 in MSFS 2024:
As described in this thread of the iniBuilds Forum, this behaviour is correct.
You have to disconnect the AP via the red button at the sidestick to avoid the constant warning.
This is intentional and correct per Airbus logic. You need to disconnect it from the sidestick, or press the button again to silence the alert.
If you disconnect it from the sidestick with the correct keybind set, or via clicking the red button; you will get one loop CRC and a master warning on the ECAM.
If you disconnect via the FCU - as you did above - you will get a non-stop loop of the CRC until you re-engage, or acknowledge the master warning.
I’ve already tested this. After disconnecting via keybind for the red button of the sidestick I’ve got only a single warning sound.
