A320n Airways not in Database, but A320n (v2) works

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?

No

Which aircraft are you reporting an issue about? (Please also add the proper tag for it)

A320n

Brief description of the issue:

Im pretty new to MSFS and its my first time trying to enter the Flightplan via the MCDU manually. I watched a Youtube-tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snNf6Kkz540&list=PL3cb4SXaJw9HDfOwq3lD6qPscsnjz492N&index=6
and also worked me through the tutorial from FlyByWire:
Preparing the MCDU - FlyByWire Simulations Documentation
Before i wrote this entry, i also contacted two ATC´s and googled about 3-4 hours. I didn´t found any topic related to my problem directly and the ATC´s couldnt help me either.
But now to my problem:
In the default A320n in MSFS is it impossible for me to insert the F-PLN with the correct airways. Instead im only allowed to enter the waypoints.
The A320n (v2) and the A320n from FlyByWire seems to not have the problem and i couldnt explain to me why. With this aircraft there was no problem and it was the same as in the tutorials explained.
In the A320n it always says “Not in Database” when i try to enter the airways. I will provide screenshots with the steps i have done in the next section.
I can be sure that its not the outdated Airac from Simbrief, that is responsible for that issue. I asked a subscription member to give me a route with the newest cycle and it still didn´t worked.
I can imagine its a bug, otherwise i guess there would be reports about it, so maybe the categorie wont fit.

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

First of all the route im planning to fly:
EDDH/33 IDEKO6G IDEKO N850 WRB WRB6H EDLP/24
I tried different routes but it wont worked with other either.
Now the step by step part:
-Obviously before i can enter something in the mcdu i need to pick a plane and so bring it from cold and dark to be able to access the mcdu.
-Short description:
Pick A320neo in the Worldmap, pick EDDH select Ramp5, Turn on Battery 1+2 + External Power.

Now the MCDU:
Init-Page:
From/To filled with EDDH/EDLP
Cost Index filled with 26
CRZ FL with FL230
image
F-PLN:
The Flight Plan now looks like this:

LSK1L-> select Departure->select RW33-> SID IDEK6G → press INSERT*
This is the F-PLN now, with more Waypoints above DH260

LSK4L(IDEKO)->LSK5R(AIRWAYS)->Type N850 bringing me to this:

Press LSK2L-> resulting in the error “Not in Database”

I also tried to first enter all waypoints and adding the airways later, which also didn´t worked.
Maybe im missing something, maybe its time to swap to the A320n (v2) :). Nevertheless it would be awesome to know the cause of this problem and maybe someone already encounterd it. I had this issue with the vanilla version of MSFS, expect installed vPilot. Now i installed FlyByWire to test it in there aircraft. There aren´t any other mods or stuff installed for MSFS.

Did you come across this post during your search?

I did, but by overflying i concluded the problem is not the same i have, somehow on the second read it maybe is. Basically there are no airways in the A320n, because Microsoft thought, there is no need for it, because the World Map doesnt include airways anyway?

But that doesnt explain, why its working in the youtube tutorial, though it seems to be the standard A320n from Microsoft

Easyjetsimpilot uses the FBW A320n in the video not the stock Asobo A320n.

How do you know that? In the Video there is e.g. no Tablet right in the beginning of the video. But anyways, that would explain it.

If you open the notes to the video description it explains the tutorial is a retake from the original and also provides a link to the original.

If you play the original tutorial Easyjetsimpilot mentions he is using the FBW mod in the introduction.

OK, thank you for your help. I will change to FlyByWire then i guess.
