A32NX 0.4.1 ILS Issue

I have the 0.4.1 update for the FBW Neo.

Tried several landings at Frankfurt.

RW25R, on ILS 111.35
RW25C on ILS 111.55
RW25L on ILS 111.15

I get no ILS frequency displayed on PFD
I get no ILS iformation on PFD and autopilot doesnt follow LOC/GS.

Tried with the Longitude and all ILS works fine.

A bug? Im sure this worked a couple of patches ago?

Thanks

Are you sure that’s not a bug in the sim? I tried a landing at Copenhagen using the default A320 and I also didn’t have any ILS display on the PFD.

It’s a bug in the dev version of the A32NX. Are you sure you are using the nomal mod?

Its the stable version (4.1). I used the installer to install it into my community folder.

I tried several Asobo aircraft and all have full ILS at Frankfurt.

Just to let you know. I just did a short flight with the A320 to EGLC (09 ILS approach) with the stable 0.4.1 version.
Everything worked well but i also had no ILS frequency displayed in the MCDU.
I had to put it in manually and the landing worked pretty well.

Have you tried the stock A320 to confirm that is not a vanilla bug?

Strangely, I did have the correct frequency in the radio page of the MCDU. Auto tuned since I’d selected approach to IKS RW25L. However, nothing was displayed on the PFD, no repeated frequency, no localizer and no glideslope.

All this worked before the latest MSFS patch and subsequent nx patch.

I do find that the ILS frequency don’t get populated automatically a lot more often than before the latest patch.

But as soon as I enter (or re-enter) the correct frequency into the NAV RAD page, the ILS signal is detected and I can capture it and maintain it just fine.

So I just need to make sure that whenever I fly, I double check my NAV RAD page making sure my ILS frequency is correctly entered.

Same here. On Take Offf, I no longer get the v1 sign on the display. And on approach, I get no ILS frequency as well.

Tested on EDDF and EDDN.

I second to this… I am always flying to EDDF and yeah the ILS freq is not showing anymore like before.

I second that motion. V1 ref during takeoff, is absent. Also no ILS frequency, or course. I entered the course and frequency of 17R during final approach for CYYC manually via the MCDU, and it worked. I’m not sure if it is the sim, or the flybywire mod.

For me this happens in both stable, and developer versions of the 32NX. It’s not a big deal- I can just enter the relevant data via the MCDU, but all these little quirks are starting to be quite the bummer in the sim. Asobo fixes one thing, which breaks another. For instance, I also have not seen any decent immersive cloud formations since the last Asobo update. But that’s another story I guess…

EDIT: The Deceleration circles before final approach are also missing in the flight plans in the NEO. So there is that as well.

Actually it’s the mod. The default shoes the old frequency. I think they did it to make it realistic?

Also the new version of mod has NO DECEL points. Apparently, many/ most still see DECEL points that is getting overrided from the default, but the modders told me it hadn’t been implement Ed in their version yet.

4.1 stable version from the installer, inserts the IKS frequency into the radio page. But it doesn’t activate it for display on the PFD. So there’s no GS/Loc or frequency repeated on PFD.

There was before the latest MS update and subsequent nx patch.

I reported on GitHub. They must know it’s a new bug. I never saw this previous to the update.

Maybe it’s not a big?

Maybe they want us to have to input it. All you gotta do is go arrival and click runway.

No thats not correct. They dont realise its a bug yet. Probably â– â– â– â– â– â– ?

i whined about it on their discord

Yes wll its a bug as far as im concerned.

i flew earlier versions and did not see this.
So ITS A BUG!

I had the same problem and cluldn’t input manually. Crashed lut of frustration.

Thanks for your reply. I guess we have to wait for the next update patch. Things may get better hopefully.

Are you sure you didn’t put the wrong ILS frequency? There’s a ILS frequency database that I used to go to when I want to enter it manually. And I did get the same issue as you do. I enter it, but the ILS wasn’t detected on the displays and the G/S or LOC never activates. It turns out they specify it that it’s used only for X-Plane purposes and not using the real world frequencies. When I realised that, I open the official Jeppesen charts and enter the ILS frequency there… then poof, the displays detected the correct frequency and runway and I can do my ILS approach.
