A32NX flying straight

Hi everyone,

The A320 has a side slip to the left, but the rudder trim is not functional.
Is anyone else facing this problem? and also if anyone has a solution, apart from manually flying the aircraft.

Thanks a lot.

What do you mean by “is not functional”? I was under the impression that the A/P is handling the trims while engaged.

It just looks like you’re having winds from the left and the A/P is correcting the course. You should be able to see a difference between heading and course in the upper left (behind your VFR map bar).

Thanks Judge, you are right it might be the wind.
i’ll give it another try.

It’s called crabbing. It’s normal that the aircraft flies slightly facing towards the wind, because if they fly straight, the wind will blow them off course. So by facing towards the wind, the aicraft can compensate for the offset and have it fly on course.
