Greetings
I did lately re-install FS2020 after a long break and i noticed there was already a pre-installed A32NX from FBW as ‘native’ aircraft.
When i did download the FBW installer to use dev and exp version, i did not notice any changes.
Should i remove the “native” from official folder to get the “community” (addon) version to work ??
When i go to plane selection, i still see only one FBW plane, regardless i got in fact 2 versions (native and downloaded).
I’m lost with it… please help.
You should not need to do anything other than use the installer to get the latest development version and select the FBW plane in the sim. The one in the market place is the last stable version. A bit out of date by now.
Not sure I’m right here but FBW is now gone standalone, completely separate from the default MSFS aircraft.
Thats correct. When the FBW mod is installed it shows as a separate plane from the default Asobo one.
have you downloaded it via the new installer?
As previous posters said, the FBW A32NX is a stand alone plane now. So if you choose the default MSFS A320, you’ll fly the default A320.
By the way, don’t use the experimental version right now. It is totally outdated. The most up to date version is the development version.
Youll see the different airbus once installed. Look carefully. I use to use it but performance became too much. Now I fly the modded c172 at 60fps fluid. Definitely more fun to fly thr plane than just manage it.
Thanks for the replies ))
I did simply delete the one into Officiel folder and kept the one downloaded by the installer in the Community folder. Now everything is ok.
I just still dont understand why it was into the steam/public one.
It seems you downloaded the FBW stable version from MSFS marketplace.
make sure to de-install it via content manager. simply deleting files in official folder will prpably just cause the sim to download them again.
