Simply put, we want people to use our source code, APIs, tools etc. But at the same time we also want them to give back to the community as it is, without having a commercial interest in mind. We know of other fellow freeware devs who will benefit from this, and we are happy about it. But an XYZ brand repackaging our code for possibly 100s of dollars is something we are against.
