A6M5 Zero

Has anyone had the chance to try out the A6M5 Zero by BeeKay? Keen to get it but not familiar with the developers.

It’s been long available from JustFlight but it looks like he updated it slightly with additional textures and GPS stuff. I don’t recall the price in the marketplace, but I wouldn’t call it high fidelity.
Not horrid if you don’t have super duper Fenix/PMDG/Milviz expectations, but I would say at least from using his release as part of a pack through JustFlight that it’s a half step up or so from MScenery products.
Not a ringing endorsement, but Blackbird’s/Milviz Zero is likely a couple years away based on their development cycles, so it’s probably the best we’ll get.

There’s going to be another WW2 Japanese plane in development hopefully for the end of 2024 by another dev, but it’s not related to the Zero, so this may be it for this type of plane for a bit.

Given that it’s about £10.50 that makes sense I guess. Thanks for the detailed response, very helpful!

any flyers on the xbox side given the zero a try?

There’s a freeware A6M5 Zero by Fsadni. It’s similar in visual quality to the original payware version

I have Xbox and got the zero today. Yeah it’s not amazing but also good enough for external visual & to have a ww2 fighter. Also cool is that it comes with ww2 jap carriers and airfields.

That’s because it’s literally the same model. They both purchased it from Turbosquid and imported it to MSFS. One thought they’d do it for free, and another wanted money for the same efforts.
