I got the email from iniBuilds and thought ‘instant buy’ then watched the trailer. It looks like a scenery from 2 or 3 years ago, which is to say very basic.
I almost bought this because of iniBuilds, I’m glad I didn’t. At that price it needs to be much much better than this. I don’t really see the logic in iniBuilds selling this on their store, because their own scenery is a different level to this.
I bought EGPD over the weekend and agree with many of the opinions above.
Scenery developers have set a very standard over the last few years and this just doesn’t quite get there. More attention appears to have been given to the none-airside areas of the airport rather than airside which as virtual pilots is really what we would like to see.
Hopefully there will be some updates soon that resolve this and bring some life to the airport. Currently I prefer the freeware EGPD which just “feels” better.
To be honest, I like to see non-airside areas modelled (if we’re talking about airfield perimeter surroundings) but perhaps not to the detriment of crucial bits of the airside.
