has Asobo ever mentioned this will get looked at? Its annoying to have to restart the entire flightsim just to do a turnaround flight. I cant even go back to the main menu and reload my next flight since the Live weather will stop working
100% Agree on this.. there should at least be a in game flight planner you can select from the top so you can choose where to flight next off the cuff like FSX days..
Hmm you could manually enter your waypoints to your gps from the cockpit, or am I misunderstanding something?
it doesnt work. the MCDU wont follow the flightplan. Also you should just be able to upload a new flightplan and not have to manually input a brand new one. If this was a workaround I would just deal with it but like I said it doesnt work
all that does is switch the airport you have in the āFROMā spot to the āTOā spot. Also you can always just go back to the main menu after completing a flight however now you will start cold and dark once again after loading back in and Live Weather wont work at least as of 2 patches ago. Maybe Live Weather will work now as I havent attempted to load another flight without exiting the sim first but either way you will have to start cold and dark again which isnt ideal
thats a workaround but not a solution.
Turnaround means not to leave cockpit, so going backj to main menu and reload a new flight is not the same.
Itās more like saying : āWeather not working on second flight? Close sim and reload itā

I never use the flightplan mechanics from the main menu. I always enter my flightplans from the cockpit.. works very well.
are you able to get the aircraft to follow the flightplan on the retun leg or next leg after landing? ATC works just fine as well? Ive never loaded up at an airport without a flightplan loaded so I cannot comment if this would actually be a solution for now
As I said, I NEVER use the in built flight planning tools, always via cockpit (ārealismā). once iām in, I do several flights and never had problems with following gps tracks (cj4, tbm and 172ā¦ mostly cj4 in the last days)
Okay im planning a flight right now. Although not appealing I would settle for it if it allows turnaround flights without conflicting with the aircraft MCDU and/or ATC

just tried to do this and the engines wouldnt start on the A32X modā¦lol They crank but wont actually start and are stuck at 1.0%
I do this every single day that I fly using Onair. When I land, I just make a new flight plan to any airport I want , start my plane back up, and take off with the new flight plan. Not IFR though.
Okay well Im talking IFR operations. Im trying to simulate airline operations to an airport and back to a hub for example. I could easily do this by hand and just follow the waypoints on the GPS but for 3 hour flights and greater this really isnt an option.
