My CTRL F10 is for. “VFR PILOT VIEW SAVE”
You can change the key strokes to anything you want.
You can also set a button or keyboard key to display your saved default view.
“VFR PILOT VIEW RESET”
See previous brief explanation:
Also see this quick video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KjN2eiWo7U
You need to use your Arrow keys, alt+Arrow, mouse scroll, etc. to get the view you want for your default pilot view - then press CTRL F10. (or whatever you have set)
Once you have saved the view you want you can recall that view any time using the button on your yoke or the key on your keyboard you hacve set.
Here is another video showing the control configurations section in MSFS MSFS device configurations - Google Search
You can save other cockpit views using CTRL ALT 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0
I have set my keyboard to display these views by just pressing numbers 0-9
(I also cleared any other action used by the numbers 0-9)
If you do not want all 10 cockpit views, there is also a way to save them views as special external views but it is a bit more complex to set up.
See the longer explanation here:
Again, go to your Controls Options in MSFS and see the keys that are set for slewing. You can assign these actions to some other controller if you want to. You can set a button to enter SLEW mode and then use something else like a hat switch to move around.
