just found rotor trim commands… same situation with turbo prop condition… is it must be funny to bind all things as they are separately, probably it is. but could you please make some chapter in controls for borring people like me. where axis will signed to condition and mixture in same place and will call mixture/condition axis… and same about trimmers, ailerons/lateral rotor trim, pitch/longitude rotor trim. sure when we will got some hybrid piston/turboprop model so we will have to use condition and mixture as separate things. same with some vehicle with fixed and rotary wings… any way that separate controls still here. but please thinking about lazy people. who absolutely sure about some thing can be mapped in same axis buttons and intuitively used together like condition and mixture or rotary and fix surface’s tab trims. btw about intuitive… in the blue chopper trim hat moves counter intuitive directions
All totally fair points! Also part of the fun, figuring all this out ![]()
Mixture and Condition, trim controls per aircraft, these things are all pretty different. But yeah you make a good point about gathering them up nice. Try collapsing the whole menu and then expanding by logical section and you should always find what you’re looking for. Beats the “hunt and peck” I used to do, or guess what search filter to use. Goes from a giant overwhelming menu down to like 8 or 9 little options, easy place to start.
i don’t think that thing will change menu significantly. because not many things like this. but some intuitive stuff just should be used with “x/y” where x for one type of vehicle, and y for another… more simple
why assign separately for mixture and condition if can be binding to both? same with chopper fixwing trims… we can find some models where some mapped axis will use for other things and there we can use this diversity of axes. so developers will have more room to fold wings or open canopy or whatever… but as option mixed “x/y” logic would be cool, because those mixed option can be used too by developers as another one. but first of all this is convenient for lazy people:)
