About MSFS size...(may be a silly question)

Just two months after installing/using/updating this game, my 1TB SSD has given almost 110GB to MSFS. I mean, with the future updates, I wonder how soon shall I worry about running out of hard drive space?

Sooner than I think.

Welcome all your thoughts on this. thanks

Remember that a lot of what you see isn’t stored locally. I’m currently at about 117GB, but that’s counting both official and community addons, including Japan. I currently have 41 Asobo airport folders, using a total of just over 4 GB. The Aerosoft Paderborn addon is almost that big by itself, and the Orbx London Landmarks package (my only real "purchase, so far) is 1.38 GB. Other than considering Orbx’s London City Airport, I’m pretty happy with what I have so far. You won’t find me spending money on airports that I won’t use more than 2 times, but EGLC would be a nice place to use to avoid the hassles of Gatwick or Heathrow.

I have a problem with MSFS. Why I may have stored airports and aircraft and scereries that I don´t want to use and update it all with any new patch, when I doń t want to use and fly over there anytime? Why MSFS haven´t any switch to remove aircraft and airports or regions? i want to fly only over Europe and I´m using only 2 of all aircraft, so why I may have stored over 110GBs of space on my SSD? Possible to solve it somehow Asobo? Any other wan´t it too? Please, vote for it. Thx.

On my installation with 25 stock aircraft, those folders are only 10.7 GB. Removing factory features is possible via the Content Manager, but I recommend against it. If you have anything in your Community folder that you don’t think you’ll use on a regular basis, just delete that folder while the sim isn’t running.

If you install the sim on a disk other than C:, the download is limited to the "Mandatory Content ". I have done that and MSFS mentions as a result in the Content Manager a Core Content of 80.88GiB which on disk is 82.6GB. It is confusing because the sim announces and actually downloads 94.44 GiB (vs 1.10.8.0) but just 80.88 GiB is thus installed. It includes just two planes: the TMB930 and Cessna152. It does not include the flying lessons and many airports. But all standard content that is not present can be freely downloaded in the Content Manager. So here is the opportunity you asked for!
