About ZenDesk -- Should I persist?

This is a complaint - but also needing some advise on the matter.
Logged a little over 480 hrs flying on FS2020 and then without any reason the sim stopped working on me exactly 23 days ago.
Contacted ZenDesk immediately once I realized that emptying my Community folder and disabling Navigraph did not help.

All was clearly indicated on my written backgrounder to ZenDesk.
Their reply was to :

  1. Empty my community folder
  2. Disable Simconnect / Navigraph

Hmmm…

They then requested my DxDiag & MSinfo txt files. Sent to them, again I was told Simconnect was the issue.
I entirely uninstalled Navigraph but my issue is still there, reported back.
Since then, deafening silence from ZenDesk. That’s 19 days.

Anyone else having such ■■■■-poor experience with them ? :-/

Too Low Too Slow

No speed issues here, but in some cases it clearly looks like I have received a boiler plate response, at best. Or completely misunderstanding the thrust of my ticket entirely.

Basicly the same response i got after sending in DxDiag, and MSinfo… nothing heard since. I ended up doing a clean install of everything including OS, CTD’s still contiued, but less frquent.

Then , and i think this was the game changer, a few days ago now Xbox app updates, Net framework updates, and Win 10… guess what… no CTD’s since… other than the failed Friday update issues.

There is a error in Simconnect.
The more data put through it, the more unstable it becomes, and when it crashes, it takes the sim with it.
It is also cumulative, the longer you fly, the more data goes through, so the greater your chances of CTD.
Until this is corrected with a patch, there is nothing more Zendesk can do.
ASOBO have said the patch will be with the next update.
I’m hoping they mean the World Update 3, due soon (actually past due!), not the Sim Update in March.

Zendesk is too-tedious, and I don’t even know where the reports end up. I don’t have 5 minutes or so to post a report every time I come across a bug. It’s far easier to do it here in the forums or bother the staff on Discord instead.

I don’t create them as I find them, but if I find a glitch in an airport scenery, typically grassy taxiways, and the like, I take a few screenshots then save them in a folder named as the ICAO of the airport. When I’m at a loose end, I then log them in batch. It’s also worth having a text file sitting around with all the questions you are asked each time, making it far less trying.

You may have noticed, I do indeed have said text file!!

Any external programs that use simconnect? Some use a old/different simconnect.dll and that can cause a problem also.
