Moved to Community Support-Weather and Live Weather. Water dissipating is not an issue that was being addressed in the Beta Update (1.29.29.0).

1.29.29.0 did NOT fix the water dissipating from the ground after a rain shower, the ground dries up within 5 seconds, which is completely unrealistic as i mentioned. I just tested it ( I am on 1.29.29.0 ), and it does not work as expected. It was also not in the release notes of 1.29.29.0, in fact, no mention of anything weather related.
I agree with you it is not realistic but since it is something that has never been implemented it is not a bug, you should open a topic in the wishlist forum. I found a similar request but it has been closed: Wet Runways/Etc Dry So Fast - Is there a way/mod to allow the Wet Look to remain longer?
Had abrupt weather state update yesterday using live time & weather - MSFS 1.33.8.0 - was flying glider over central europe when after about 40 min in flight all surrounding clouds changed with added heavy rain near me.
I’ve got good internet connection - no warnings etc.
Expected that any weather updates would be gradual not in split second - especially important and immersion breaking when flying gliders whose fuel is weather.
