Thanks,
Didn’t work for me, so put it back. The only way I can load in a couple of minutes is disconnecting the network cable, starting game and then plugging cable back in when it says no internet connection. Now I’ve done some monitoring behind the scenes, on the 35 Minute load, My CPU is Tanked at 100% constant. My Hard Drive is reading and writing data over and over, 35mb/sec every second throughout the whole loading process, it goes on and then off and so on and so on Constantly reading and writing the same amount of Data. On the Quick Load, my CPU is not as stressed, runs at 77%, My hard drive activity is at a minimum.
On the 35 Minute load, after clicking the icon, I get a whirly circle down the bottom Right. It starts at 9% when the game comes up. Takes ages to get to loading packages and then get’s stuck at 5/1012 for ages. Once it gets past this, its slow getting to 1012. Once that has finished, it loads world data from 51% to 68% and again gets stuck for ages
On the Quick Load, No Whirly Circle and the percentage starts at 0%, goes up fairly quickly. It starts at 7/1012 but whizzes up. Loading world data, goes up to 58%, but then suddenly jumps to 84% and the game starts.
Really odd.
UPDATE: When I use the Pull the Network Cable method to get it to work, it says VFS Activating Package and it loads fast. If I don’t pull the network cable, I just get activating packages, and it loads slow in 35 minutes. I did another test, and started the game without pulling the network cable, and it was really slow as usual. Whilst it said Activating Packages, I pulled the Cable again, waited for it to complain of no internet and plugged back in, it said VFS again and loaded in a couple of minutes.
