Bought one of the above to add some realism to flying my Fenix A320-200. Since the hardware is for the Airbus simulation and has latches and markings relating to the use of reverse thrust, I assume Thrustmaster intended it should be possible to use their throttle levers per the real aircraft. Indeed, Jonathan Becket has a YouTube video showing how to set up this function for the FBW A320, using the aircraft tablet. Trouble is my FBW tablet shows a white dot against ‘Reverser on Axis’ rather than a blue one, and accordingly there is no facility offered on the indents page for anything position lower than forward idle. Since the throttle latches don’t activate any buttons, virtual or otherwise, I assume there has to be some other way of the Sim knowing where the throttles are, and thus that reverse thrust should be applied. But what? Is there a way of setting the axis zero at the lower end of the full travel of the throttle levers, ie below the latch point? At present, my zero is just above the latch point, and it remains at that when the latches are released and the levers moved on to the bottom end of their travel. I’d appreciate advice from someone who has the reverse thrust working as intended ( ie not the workaround of a separate reverse switch followed by pushing the throttles forward again), and can tell me the secret.
PS I know I am not the first to raise this, and I will trawl again through the other similar threads on this forum, but so far I haven’t spotted the answer to my difficulty.
