The pause button from the in-flight menu is suddenly gone and I can’t find a way to restore it. Clicking on the gear icon: there isn’t any option for re-adding a pause button. This has happened before but only for a short time. It had something to do with live time/weather and mutilplayer pre-sets but I can’t seem to make any combination work to restore the pause button.
Try resetting the Toolbar - Gear Icon.
Alternatively, the ESC key will activate it. You just need to map a button or controller key to SET PAUSE OFF to exit that mode.
Active pause is still there and activated with the Pause button on the keyboard. Oh XBox sorry I don´t know… sorry wrong thread. Please delete.
I ran into this issue after going through a few ILS training courses. After my training flights, I set up a regular flight through the World Map. I noticed shortly after taking off the active pause button was missing, with no option to restore it. I had to restart MSFS to get the button back. I haven’t tried to reproduce this since.
Maybe training flights remove active pause? Did you do any of the training flights before noticing it was gone?
No training flights. I haven’t done those in a while. Apparently I need to bind a keyboard command now which is kind of annoying.
This has happened before but it always returned after a restart or two. It’s been a few days now. I really don’t get this sim sometimes. How can something so simple just go missing.
