Okay, so here the value is “yes” which is a placeholder and basically needs to be updated if someone knows a more precise type.
It’s crowdsourced, not depending on planning permissions. Everyone can fix these errors in their area, so feel free to start just now with those that you found 
The benefit of OSM is that everyone (including MS/Asobo) can use the data and it has a LOT of details that you otherwise need to search from different sources.
People living there can just go out and see what type it is and correct the entry. That’s how it works.
But we’re getting off topic. I never said that OSM data is complete but it’s the best we have and we know that MSFS uses this data.
