Add (custom) waypoint to flightplan...?

See topic title: it seems this can be done…? Really…? I must be missing something obvious.

You can leftclick everywhere on the globe and choose ADD in the upcomming menu.

Thanks. I was missing something obvious indeed.

I found that it works intermittently which is odd. Sometimes you’'ll left click and nothing will happen.

The flight plan stuff is a bit weird.
I wanted to do a flight plan that involved taking off at Dunsfold (Top Gear track), flying towards Farnborough, then going towards Fairoaks and finally heading over london to land at London City and I wasn’t able to get them in the right order, it wanted to send me from Dunsfold to Fairoaks then west out to Farnborough before going back east to London and no matter what I tried I couldn’t edit it to how I wanted it.

Hm, as I already thought that doesn’t work. I thought you said rightclick as I already tried leftclick but none of them do anything. I can’t add a custom waypoint to a flight in any way…

You are right. Just tried it minutes ago. Im pretty sure, it worked in the alpha/beta.
It seems to be a bug. When I click on land, nothing happens, but when I click on water it works and the menu appears.
I try a little more, but seems to be a case for Zendesk.

Now it seems to work randomly. Sometimes the menu comes up, sometimes it just selects the flightpath. Weird! :no_mouth:

You’re correct and it did work at launch but now just doesn’t want to work at all. Strange.

You can add waypoints but only using airports, beacons etc.

Oddly you can create a waypoint to start or end a flight, just not in between.
