I’m interested in having some kind of virtual flight instructor (a program that guides me) in addition to the built in flight school. I’m posting here because I figure these would be similar to add-ons (maybe they would use the API) and also my post in “General Discussion” got no replies.
I’ve seen three possibilities:
FSFlyingSchool: I bought this and maybe I haven’t figured out how to use it. It doesn’t provide much guidance.
EAA Virtual Flight Academy: requires an EAA membership
I’ll mention this even though it’s X-Plane only (probably a lot of us have used X-Plane too)
Gleim X-Plane Flight Training Course
and then there’s PilotEdge, not really a flight school but for practicing ATC converations.
Can anyone with experience with these things comment on whether they are a good value? Any other useful forms of flight instruction?
