I have a few addons…FS Realistic, Simshaker, SPAD.Next, FS ATC Chatter……that are run as separate programs outside of the community folder. Is there any performance advantage to running them on a separate physical SSD than MSFS or dies it not make any difference if they are all accessing the same SSD at the same time. (FYI my rolling cache IS on a separate SSD and I would like to eventually move SPAD,next to another slave computer to decrease processing overhead on my FIPs etc). Thank you.
Addon’s require few iops, and SSD have massive iops, it won’t matter much. I put my addons on a seperate SSD, but it’s just because I have a lot of stuff installed. It changes nothing for performance.
The I/O reads are quite low on it while MSFS isvrunning, even while loading.
