No

Have you disabled/removed all your mods and addons? If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the Community Support section.

No addons, exept for the Bonanza and the Carenado Mooney. Else I have only installed what came and was updated via the Microsoft Market Place.

Which aircraft are you reporting an issue about? (Please also add the proper tag for it)

I have encountered it in the V35B, and then tried the C172 with analogue gauges to make sure it’s not aircraft specific.

Brief description of the issue:

The ADF in aircraft equipped with it can’t be tuned. I can use the bigger knob on the right side of the ADF-receiver to tune the leftmost two digits and when I try to tune the rightmost two digits with the smaller knob only one of them (the lowest/rightmost) does change. The second from right does not change no matter what I try.

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

no screenshots

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Launch a flight with an aircraft equipped with ADF. Try to set the ADF to 344 for instance.
The leftmost two digits should be tuneable from 2 up to 17 with the bigger knob and they are.
The rightmost two digits should be tuneable from 00 to 99 with the small knob and that doesn’t work. Only the rightmost digit changes.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

XBox Series X, LG OLED TV 4k@120Hz, Honeycomb Alpha XPC and Bravo, a small keyboard with integrated trackpad and scroll wheel connected via 2.4GHz. To turn the knobs I place the mouse pointer over them and then use the scroll wheel.

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

I use the latest most up to date build 1.33.8. The problem may have come in with the last aircraft and avionics update because I remember having used the ADF before that and it worked.

Hi @FrankO7109
Did you push the button on the end of the knob? That should change it (the small knob) from one input area to the next (from digit 3 to digit 4).

Hi and thank you very much for your reply,

shame on me really :face_with_raised_eyebrow: :face_with_diagonal_mouth:! Yes i did try pushing the button but obviously not hard enough.
I just clicked it with the mouse button and it had no effect. But a few minutes ago I tried again and found out that I have to hold the mouse button down for a moment. Then the pushbutton moves in or out respectively and the third digit can be changed.

Thank you very much again, problem solved or better no problem at all

Kind regards, Frank

Hello @FrankO7109,

I’ve moved your topic over to the #gd-commsupport:anc subcategory of General Discussion & Community Support, as you seemed to have resolved this and believed to be user error.

Glad it was just that and not a major issue.

If’s difficult. We were all new to MSFS at some time, and without much documentation on how things work (or don’t), its a long learning curve to pick up all you need to know.

A helpful community and forums like this, help a lot…

Happy Landings …
