I found out the hard way the product seems useless on the Xbox, when I purchased it during Thanksgiving week, 2023. There are no E-Jets to be found no matter what my settings are, though by default I leave real traffic on and ground traffic at 100 pct. I can uninstall the product, but there is no refund option, though given its low cost the investment in time asking for a refund is not worth it, I do consider those things.
It is a shame this product is available on the Xbox Marketplace. Developers have an obligation to test on both platforms. US contract law requires any product sold, by anyone, in any form, requires the merchant to conform to the implied warranty of merchantability: a merchant’s basic promise that the goods sold will do what they are supposed to do and that there is nothing significantly wrong with them . In other words, it is an implied promise that the goods are fit to be sold.
I worked first as a tourism systems implementation specialist in my tech career, which began after my retail and tourism jobs ended in '89, I was given the opportunity because I worked and sold good and services to the public to teach the systems we used, which let me travel worldwide, but mostly in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
We were well aware as software implementation managers, which I was promoted into, that if we sold a product with bugs to our clients, we had to either fix them or if the software did not live up to what I mentioned above, refund them–even if it was a ten thousand dollar license or greater.
Just because our hobby add-ons are less does not mean developers should abandon support for their products while still allowing them to be sold, which I feel this one has.
I rarely complain about an add-on, none are perfect, but most I get make me very happy. This one did not, and I did not know others had challenges, only having recently joined these forums.
