We encourage you to vote and/or respond to our thread in the dev support forum area so Asobo/Microsoft can look into providing a solution for console users. Thanks for your continued support.
XBOX vs. PC Settings and our Product - MSFS DevSupport (flightsimulator.com)
Then i was mistaken. I always take a look here:
Hey UnitedArt,
Ah. I use FlightRadar24’s fleet page to look at what was active for the answer to your post. Here is the link to SAS Fleet there:
Attention XBOX Customers - PC Customers not affected!
Hey all,
After discussing the issue with Asobo, we discovered that our product would not work as intended on the XBOX X|S due to the limitations of the XBOX platform. The XBOX X|S Microsoft Flight Simulator version has different optimizations for the platform via hardware and option settings. Some options are not available to allow our product to function fully as intended on the XBOX X|S. As there is no way to test a product on the platform until after release, we were unaware of the XBOX platform’s limitations compared to the PC version.
We have submitted a request to our Marketplace representative on what steps we need to take to change the product to a PC Only product listing and how to refund our XBOX customers. I will hopefully have information soon regarding whether this can be done internally via Microsoft or if you all need to go with a manual refund route.
We are sorry about the inconvenience this may cause and that we could not deliver the same product experience to the XBOX X|S platform for AI Worldwide E-Jets Series. We appreciate your initial support of the product with your purchase. We feel it is just not right to continue to sell this product on the XBOX X|S platform if it cannot perform as intended.
We will provide more information about refunds once we receive them.
Sincerely,
Jeff and Tom @ Adventum Simulations
Thank you.
More and more, I consider to go the PC route… I just miss a lot of nice utilities on Xbox.
But still, I see them quite often. Here’s 2 Delta’s and 1 Alaska at Seattle International…
So, it’s working?
UnitedArt,
Thanks for the picture. When it does work correctly, it looks great, but the hit-and-miss nature of it bothers us compared to the PC version, and Asobo mentioned XBOX S customers even have less of a chance of this showing. Unfortunately, we are not happy with the random results compared to the PC version, which led to our decision. Thank you for your support.
Jeff @ Adventum Simulations
This sucks, was so ready to make this purchase on Xbox.
Attention XBOX Customers Only
We have heard back from Microsoft about the XBOX release of AI Worldwide E-Jets Series. They are planning to delist the product for XBOX users. It will become a PC Only product for the reasons we mentioned earlier. The product does work on the XBOX, but you will have mixed results, as shown in the screenshots in this forum post above.
For those wishing to get a refund for the XBOX version, you can use the following link to request the refund: Xbox Support. Mention the compatibility issue for the XBOX version with your refund request.
Sorry for the added trouble of making a manual refund request; Microsoft could not do a batch refund for XBOX customers.
Again, the issues with the product only affect XBOX customers. The product works as described for PC customers.
Thanks for your support and patience,
Jeff and Tom @ Adventum Simulations
My refund was denied! Reason: “You’ve exceeded the allowable refund period for digital game purchases.”
Great service Microsoft!! ![]()
Hello Saimaensais,
I’ll contact them to see how to proceed with this issue. Sorry for the hurdles.
Jeff @ Adventum Simulations
Thank you very much ![]()
Hi Jeff,
please make absolutely sure that the product only gets delisted from the marketplace but STAYS in the CONTENT MANAGER for anyone who bought it and do not wish to (or can not) refund.
Otherwise the legal customer can not reinstall the paid for product.
Removing a bought product from the content manager, like Aerosoft did with Simple Traffic on Xbox, is simply fraud!
Anyone who requests a refund will use up one of their very limited yearly “refund slots” . I think someone said in a different thread it’s only 2 refunds allowed pro year.
Saimaensais,
Can you respond to me via direct message with your order number? I’ll help in taking care of this directly.
Thanks!
Jeff @ Adventum Simulations
CougarXb,
I’ll pass it on to Microsoft. Thanks!
Jeff @ Adventum Simulations
Thanks Jeff.
Unfortunately it looks like the E-Jets AI has already been pulled from the Xbox Content Manager too.
I have it installed and see ocational E-Jets at the gates. But I can’t locate it in the content manager anymore.
Your xbox customers are now unable to deinstall the E-Jet AI. Or reinstall it, if they need to reinstall MSFS.
This is not acceptable.
Personally, I enjoy your addon on xbox, despite it not working the way it was intended to.
Cougarxb,
This must have happened Friday. I had a post to them yesterday. They probably won’t respond until Monday (Hopefully).
Thanks!
Jeff
I realised today that the ejets package was gone from my contents manager. Asobo should at the very least, notify us and provide an auto refund once any package are removed. I hope it will also be automatically uninstalled in case i bought another package which may clash with this since I have no access now.
Anyway i appreciate this pack and look forward for more future updates that this will be back to xbox. Thanks!
Sadly, my refund request was also denied.
