Aeromobile Released

IniBuilds snuck one in! Purchase links in video description. Description states it’s on the MP for console users too.

I bought this. A few small bugs but the dev has been AMAZING at responding and fixing things quickly.

I highly recommend disabling crashes since driving off runways can cause quick crashes.

Having a lot of fun with it.

oh yeah, this looks cool

I found it pretty annoying driving on bridges in the sim. Does this one perform any better, ie. not falling into the ramp nor stuck under another bridge?

I think this is a core sim issue, nothing a plane or car addon can do to make this any better for us. So, it would be the same as anything else out there.

yeah, I mean have you seen some of these bridges from the air lol? they look like walls composed of 1980s level grafics

You mean like none of the switches on the left panel working? Even after resorting to Ctrl+E to get the engine running, the mag switch still sits at Off. If I’m missing some step, it’s not covered in what passes for a manual.

I was excited for this when I saw it. Now, not so much…

Sorry, switches are all working fine for me. Haven’t found any switch not working unless it’s marked inop.

I had a bug where my windscreen was opaque and I couldn’t see out. But that was fixed in a patch.

Eh. Another fictional fantasy. I am ok. My hangar is full of actual existing aircraft with a couple of ones that only did a flight or so (that Hughes one and Bleriot, etc)

If I recall correctly, this is an actual model that flew as early as 2014 and could have been made into production already. At least this is modeled after the 3.0 not 4.0 which is still a prototype.

The extravaganza already started early last century but they sold only 1 model. Imagine people flying like they currently drive. Imagine a traffic jam and 100 guys trying to take off to escape from it at the same time. Now imagine both things but on rush hour. Some designs still forget the primitive aspects of human behaviour

Cheers

Disclaimer: My opinion is only based in videos, I don’t have this yet.

I couldn’t believe the price of this.
The interior looks freeware quality and the systems are all default. Not sure if it has some flight model or if it is flying like a C152 or something like that.
If we are talking about weird things that fly the Scrapyard monster is miles ahead of this in graphical quality and it is a freeware.
I could also list plenty of better add-ons for the price of this.
Very strange the dev chose this path.

It is an actual aircraft/car. 2014 they were doing the first test with it. Last year they did 300 safety flights to get certification, and it is in production now and for sale at I think $1.2 million.

Practicality in the sim though, with MSFS roads being so rough, you would only really be able to fly with it. Its something that for some would offer novelty for the first one or two flights, but it probably would not become anyones staple aircraft.

Def a core sim issue. Tons of addon scenery devs actually attach collisions to bridges for the most part.
