@ LagaffeVFR5476 has released Version 1.0 of his Aeronca Champion series. There are three liveries available. The release announcement and download link can be viewed here:

This model is free, and works on both MSFS 2020 and 2024.
Lagaffe has spent 15 months developing this classic tail dragger from the 1940’s and the result is a realistic and fun plane to fly. Improvements to the model are planned for the near future, but the first version is very usable with good visuals and handling. The test team included a person who has over 1000 hours flying an 85HP 7AC Champ he owned.
Lagaffe has requested that you contact him directly regarding feedback, problems, suggestions, issues, questions, reviews, etc. at this email address: frenchvfr@free.fr instead of posting on his announcement thread. I’m sure Lagaffe would appreciate hearing anything you have to say (especially issues you discover). I would appreciate it if you would take time to CC me at royp4674@gmail.com.
THANK YOU LAGAFFE FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORTS TOWARDS PROVIDING US WITH THIS CLASSIC AIRCRAFT ADDITION TO MSFS!

Considering all the bugs in FS24, I’d say $5 tops , that’s fair enough.
The model is freeware (no cost).
Hi,
Thank you @LagaffeVFR5476 for this lovely Aeronca Champ!
Had the chance to fly the real one back in the early 1990s. Brings back good memories. I remember being surprised by the soft main gear making the airplane wobble when taxiing over dirt or landing in a crosswind. Having flown the Bellanca Citabria with it’s stiff gear before, this was a completely different experience.

Woot! I will download it this evening.
Thanks!!!
It is a nice little plane. My only big issue with the quick view camera settings aren’t set how I like them with the hat switch on my yoke.
Pushing the switch to the left looks up instead of left. Moving the switch to the right looks straight back at the passanger seat instead of to the right.
I’ll have to play with the camera config file to get these how I need them.
I found myself looking at this yellow & orange livery and wondering why it felt intimately familiar, and then it hit me.
When I was maybe 10 or so, I had a small R/C trainer Champ in this same livery! Now that’s funny, because I just picked up that hobby again, and my gaming space is littered with foam plane parts and instructions…
