if the digital variant (GRX/GTN) is installed (instead of the analog GNS/GTN version), the GPS does not actually function, message ‘suspended’ or ‘susp’. NAV autopilot does not work etc, GPS is not functional.
The GPS info indicates that satellites are detected
When the analog instruments (GNS/GTN) are selected as variant then GPS does work as advertised with both GPS versions that can be selected with the switch on the dashboard:

“Because it is requires another third-party addon. It writes in description of aircraft in marketplace I think.”
That is not how I read the description
IMHO it states " - Glass cockpit with G3X etc etc"
The G3X works fine, all functionality is there, it just does not use the GPS data. In the Info screen we can see that the GPS satellites are discovered and functional. The unit just does nothing with the GPS data. Sounds like a bug to me
and as far as addon’s are concerned, that does not exist on Playstation, we have no file system or anything like that. So offering options that are only available through addon’s is impossible on Playstation.
I am on PC and had the very same problem. But In order to make the GPS navigation to work you need to open up the menu in the G3X and change the “FPL Source” from External to Internal. Then when you click on the nearby “CDI Source” you will find the GPS option is now available to choose.
Unfortunately it seems like you need to go through this procedure with every new flight with this model as it always start in VLOC instead of GPS mode .
