At this point I wouldn’t trust Aerosoft to produce another proper CRJ and I’d definitely NOT buy it from day one (like I did with the 550/700). I’d probably wait a month for in-depth reviews first.
We’ve had enough issues with the existing versions as they are, several bugs that years later have not been fixed, patches consistently getting deprioritized with zero feedback from Aerosoft management, several systems either INOP or (mainly) not having any real impact other than being able to flip an overhead switch. And so on.
All this after paying a relatively premium price of 40+ Euros (50 now I think, plus extra for 900/1000, which are essentially the same thing but with a slightly different 3D model). When the CRJ was released, it was a must buy due to the lack of detailed a/c in MSFS. But now it’s just dead weight, possibly why Aerosoft seem to have abandoned it years ago.
