Hi guys, I’m trying to plan a flight from YLHI to YSSY in Australia, however the FMS is saying there is no such thing as YLHI, which is a commercial commuter airport 
Yes this is because the CRJ cannot (legally) operate into/out of LHI and so does not carry the airport in the database. Mind you I have got the 550 out of LHI!!

Is the flight plan from Simbreif or have you created it and saved it in the folder?
If yes to any of the above, is the flight plan filename longer than 8 characters?
Example: YLHIYSSY = Good / YLHIYSSY01 = Bad
If you are just trying to create the Plan yourself, no import then it might be either odd Nav Data (Do you have a Navigraph sub) or I dont think the Plane will allow airports with runways not long enough but dont quote me on that?

oh i want to challenge to get it out of there. can def happen. just need to trick the FMS somehow
so go to World map , and spawn the aircraft there. Then go ‘direct’ to YSSY.
You could use the closest legal airport as the Departure, then take off and then go Direct to the next way point that would actually be valid.
the problem is the nearest legal airport is either Norfolk Island or Auckland!
so i used YSNF as the FROM airport. it’s real far away but pretty much a straight line through YLHI to YSSY. can take off then just do direct-to
