A small challenge re Aerosoft CRJ.
Purchased thru the MS marketplace, however after deleting and reinstalling… the version remains V 0.1.3…not the latest V 1.0.0.1. Have tried twice, but still installs older version.
Has anyone any ideas, solutions?

Mine started at 1.0 then after the patch 1.0.0.1.
0.1.3 is the version number showing in the Content Manager
The version I want to install…ie the latest updated version is 1.0.0.1
I have a feeling there was a bug in the reported version number and that the two versions are the same
Thanks for reply…only comment is that the original version (0.1.3) downloaded file was 1.66GB…the new file (version 1.0.0.1) was meant to be 1.78GB. The file I newly installed remained at 1.66GB…interesting?
It would appear that the Market Place is best avoided…I’ll be going direct to the supplier in future, and give the Market Place a wide berth.

That’s a wise choice, friend. I have been buying direct for months because of this very thing that happens there. Also, the update for Jabiru is over a month behind on the Marketplace now. I bought mine on Orbx, so thankfully they are good with updates.
For a multi billion dollar company MS does have some very serious issues in regard to customer service/delivery…the word Monopoly jumps to mind! Lesson learned.
Mind you, I see that Carenado are only releasing their offerings in the Market Place…I’ll give them a miss from now on.
