Another question on the CRJ900.
Just want to confirm that when doing an RNAV approach, the altitude needs to be manually managed via VS correct?
It does not operate the same as say the CJ4 where RNAV will do Lateral guidance as well as vertical.

And thats why i love flying the crj although… can be a little full on with 2x sim rate 
Also another tip which I learnt from one of those youtube vids…
Start your decent before you reach you tod and it makes things a little less chaotic
Yea, I saw a great video that shows the 3X Altitude rule of thumb and how to program it into the FMS to draw a Radius that shows where you should start your TOD, as well as another one where you should be at least at 10,000 feet.
