Would be best to give us some screenshots of the displays so we can see what is enabled / disabled.
As mentioned I suspect it’s a configuration issue.
I have 230.2 flight hours in it and no issues.

It certainly needs a little TLC from the dev, but from what I understand from real world CRJ pilots she has quirks in the real world as well that they work around.
One of the cool ones is the lack of VNAV (while implemented in the sim, it isn’t finished / doesn’t work well). Apparently not allot of carriers opted for VNAV and use other work arounds to calculate descent and stay on path which I use in the sim as well.
Been spending allot of time in the Fenix A320 and PMDG 738 so was nice to get out in this again.
About to take her to Montreal!
It’s all a lot more fun with no auto throttle!
There are some definite issues that need fixing, like deleting a waypoint crashing the entire aircraft systems including the throttles ( copy another WP over, don’t delete ), holds are broken, and the other big one is the a/c on an LNAV mode wandering around ( quite crazily sometimes ) & sometimes skipping waypoints. If you remember what you can’t do it’s still a fairly fun aircraft ( if needing some FM work given the game has changed a lot ). There’s a lot of small problems but that’s true of most a/c in this sim.
Hans just confirmed in Aerosoft Forums that the update is for the MSFS2000 and not for the MSFS2024 … Great news …
I started getting back into this after the sounds from Boris came out. I know some folks say they don’t sound like the real aircraft, but they sound much better than the default sounds. Excited for an update.
The Boris soundpack sadly removes the cabin announcements (or makes them completely inaudible). Other than that they absolutely beat the default sounds.
Hoo Ray! Thanks for sharing this. I just picked up the CRJ pack, looking to learn more about energy management for descent/approach. Given what I’m reading about VNAV performance and that some RW airlines don’t even order VNAV with the CRJ series, I came to the right place!
Noticed this too! Just checked his discord, and apparently they do work, but you can now only hear them from the cabin. Which makes sense I guess! But still, I kinda liked hearing them, even if not 100% realistic.
I would have preferred if he’d left the announcements alone tbh they bring some ambience. They go off at times that I’m not going to be anywhere near the passenger cabin, which I really don’t visit that much anyway as is quite low res by today’s standards.
Hey guys, I have a question regarding the Aerosoft CRJ700. I bought this about 3 days ago now, and have spent countless hours watching tutorials and doing personal research on the plane in-game and in real life.
The problem I’ve been having is that whenever the plane turns on, ALWAYS at some point in my flight (Taxi, Takeoff, or in the Air) the entire aircraft will turn off, and what I mean by this is every single button resets to default, as well as things such as cabin pressure, oil pressure and so on…
I don’t know why this is happening and could really use some help here. I’m thinking it’s possible that the download didn’t come through properly, maybe I have to reinstall? I don’t really know but please let me know if you can think of anything that might help me.
Sounds like maybe a key binding issue but hard to tell. This only occurs with the CRJ? No other a/c? What hardware are you using for yoke and throttle? Possible to record a video?
Are you maybe accidentally setting the cold and dark aircraft state? Try avoiding having the efb showing the “aircraft” page in case you accidentally click it
I made sure to start not doing this after I saw that can happen. However I have Cold and dark set as default, should I set “to default” to like ready to taxi and so on depending on what part of the flight I am on?
This only occurs with the CRJ, yes. In terms of hardware, I use: Thrustmaster TCA Officer Pack Airbus Edition (PC) which includes a joystick and dual thrust levers. Do you believe it is possible that some part of my hardware controls or controls in general might be causing this? I will get back to you with a video soon.
So I just tried without the hardware and the plane worked fine. I’m guessing we’re gonna hint at the hardware having something to do with this? I will try a video/test WITH hardware to see if that’s causing it, thank you so much for the help!
